To attract new members, there’s nothing like a sensational announcement, and that’s what happened with the sale of Erling Haaland’s unique card. After several hours of bidding, the final stake amounted to £511,000 ($684,000) in an auction on Sunday night.

Justin Bieber is a top-class celebrity and arguably one of the most famous people on the planet. Now, he also joined the famed Bored Ape Yacht Club. He bought Ape #3001 for a whopping 500 ETH worth about $1.3 million. The traits of the ape include a New Punk Blue background where 12% of all apes have it, a Black T that only 3% of the apes share, sad eyes (6% rarity), dark brown fur (14% rarity), and bored unshaven mouth (16% rarity).

Binance NFT Marketplace to List NFTs Based On Ugandan Museum Artifacts

The Uganda National Museum will create Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to be put on display and auctioned on Binance’s marketplace in a partnership with Murcom.

The Uganda National Museum will be creating digital representations in the form of NFTs to be displayed and auctioned on the Binance NFT Marketplace. In an announcement made on June 9, 2021, it was disclosed MUDA will be undertaking the role of producing digital representations of the various items held under the Museum’s custody.

Vienna’s Belvedere Museum launches NFT drop of Klimt’s ‘The Kiss’

Belvedere Museum in Vienna will offer Gustav Klimt's legendary painting "The Kiss," one of the world's most famous romantic artworks, to collectors as digital excerpts, namely as non fungible tokens.

Ahead of Valentine's Day, the museum has announced that it will begin selling digital romance in the form of 10,000 NFTs of Klimt's "The Kiss," each costing around 1,850 euros ($2,060). The museum said buyers can register for a chance to pay and "own a fraction of the digitalized image" and use these registrations as "a digital declaration of love" on Valentine's Day (Feb. 14).

Weekly NFT Sales Drop 13% While Crypto Prices Rebound From Market Rout

During the past week, NFT sales on the Ethereum blockchain have slipped 11.78% but Ronin blockchain-based NFT sales (Axie Infinity) dropped 47.83%.

Statistics over the last seven days show that NFT sales are down across the 12 blockchains that produce NFTs. Cryptoslam.io shows that weekly NFT sales dipped 13% and the leading blockchain network Ethereum’s NFT sales slipped 11.78%. The second-leading blockchain in terms of NFT sales, Solana, saw its sales decrease by 16.87% during the last seven days. The third-largest blockchain network for NFT sales, Ronin, shed 47.83% this week and Flow blockchain NFT sales increased by 10.18%.
